We are searching for a Direct Service Professional (DSP) for the Mobile Adult Day Program. This position assists the Client Care Coordinator and the Assistant Director of Adult Services in carrying out all aspects of the UCP Adult Day Program. This includes client supervision, activity generation, data tracking and management and customer service. UCP of Mobile provides an Adult Day Program with the purpose of providing support and services that enhance the lives of adults with disabilities. The program promotes goals of community inclusion, expression, choices, and continued development of personal competencies. Individuals, along with their team, create person-centered support plans with these specific goals in mind, and prioritize the goals according to their preferences and abilities. Requirements are also being able to lift 50-75 lbs frequently, have reliable transportation and attendance record, valid driver’s license, possess a high school diploma or GED and three or more years’ experience in working with people with disabilities required.
