United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile is reimagining a favorite holiday tradition! The former Christmas Nights In Lights 5K & Fun Run is now the Christmas Nights In Lights Stroll—a relaxed, family-friendly event that lets you experience the magic of Christmas Nights In Lights your way.

On Thursday, November 19, 2026, from 6:30–8 PM, walk, run, roll or stroll through the dazzling Nights In Lights display at Dauphin Way Baptist Church before it opens to the public. There’s no starting gun, no race clock and no required pace — come when you’d like and enjoy millions of twinkling lights at your own speed. Wheelchairs, walkers, strollers and other mobility devices are welcome. Fun family activities, food and special holiday guests to make the evening even more magical.

Admission is $60 for a family pass, $20 for adults and teens ages 13+, and $15 for children ages 12 and under, with proceeds benefiting UCP of Mobile and our mission to create a Life Without Limits for children and adults with disabilities. A Special Note About Our Family Pass: Our Family Pass is designed for families and loved ones who share the same household. While Christmas Nights in Lights Stroll is a fundraiser supporting the programs and services of UCP of Mobile, our greatest wish is to bring families together to celebrate the joy, wonder, and magic of the Christmas season. We can't wait to make special holiday memories with you!

 FAQs

  • The Christmas Nights In Lights Stroll will take place Thursday, November 19, 2025 in the parking lot of Dauphin Way Baptist Church — 3661 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama. The event is open 6:30-8 PM.

  • YES! This is your exclusive chance to stroll through the Christmas Nights In Lights display before the show opens to cars.

  • Yes! Strollers and wheelchairs (and other mobility equipment) are welcome for the event.

  • Yes—runners are welcome! Do note this is not a timed running event and no awards will be given.

  • No, but we will have our Christmas UCP Tees available for purchase at the event.

  • Yes! All participants will have access to water and soft drinks from Coca Cola UNITED as well as ice cream from Cammie’s Old Dutch Ice Cream and sweet treats from Obsidian Confectionery, LLC​​.

    There will also be refreshments available for purchase from SoMo Bagel Cafe’s food truck!

  • The event is rain-or-shine. No refunds if the event is canceled due to weather or for safety reasons.

  • We will have parking available in the northwest portions of Dauphin Way Baptist Church’s parking lot as well as the parking lot of Premier Medical, located next door to the church (see the Event Map on this page).

    As parking is limited, we recommend carpooling.

Established in 1947, United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile is one of the area’s oldest and most respected charities, serving individuals with disabilities in 32 counties of south Alabama, covering Mobile to Montgomery.
