Adult Day Program

A safe, secure and engaging environment for adults with disabilities

UCP of Mobile provides an Adult Day Program with the purpose of providing support and services that enhance the lives of adults with disabilities. The program promotes goals of community inclusion, expression, choices, and continued development of personal competencies. Individuals, along with their team, create person-centered support plans with these specific goals in mind, and prioritize the goals according to their preferences and abilities.

Our Adult Day Program is located in Mobile and is open to individuals 18 years and older who have:

  • Physical disabilities

  • Intellectual disabilities

  • Developmental disabilities

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Sensory Processing Disorder

  • Traumatic Brain Injury

  • Any individual with other qualified diagnosis

Program offerings include:

  • A safe, secure and engaging environment

  • Opportunities to maintain skills in the following developmental areas:

    • Cognition

    • Speech and language

    • Fine motor and self help skills

    • Sensory processing ability

    • Gross motor skills

    • Social/emotional

  • Opportunities to maintain and/or develop social interaction within the greater community

  • Nurse-assisted medication and g-tube feedings once daily (midday)

  • Assistance with personal care needs

Our Adult Day Program is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

  • Facility tours are available by request

  • Payments accepted:

    • Private pay: $30/day

    • ID Medicaid Waiver

    • LAH Medicaid Waiver
