A Winner Has Been Crowned

November 16 - On Thursday, November 10th, United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile hosted Food & Folly where over 200 guests sampled delicious cuisine from 13 Mobile-area restaurants. The event was held at the Museum of Mobile. Attendees were able to cast a vote for their favorite, resulting in The Renaissance Hotel taking home top prize of People's Choice Champion.

Participating restaurants and caterers for the evening were: The Renaissance Hotel, Spot of Tea, The Mediterranean Sandwich Co., Chef Rob & Co., Hopjack's, Pollman's Bake Shop, Naman's Catering, The Blind Mule, The Bicycle Shop, Creative Catering, Witntzell's Oyster House, The Wilton Caterer and Ashland Pub.

The Urban Jazz Quartet featuring Debbie Stewart - accompanied by Sean Worrell, Corey Johnson, and Steve Jacobs - performed live jazz throughout the evening, and the Museum offered tours including the new 9/11 exhibit: Recovery.

All funds raised from Food & Folly benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile's services for children and adults with disabilities. The agency serves 28 counties (from Mobile to Montgomery) by offering programs such as Supported Employment, Early Intervention, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Preschool, Camp SMILE, and more.
