Supported Employment Job Coach
UCP of Mobile is searching for a full-time Job Coach for our Supported Employment program in Mobile. This position is responsible for helping to train people with disabilities on how to do their individual jobs for our Supported Employment program. Needs to be at least 18 years old with high school diploma/GED, experience working with persons with disabilities and or/retail experience. Must be able to work flexible schedule. $9 an hour. Speech Language Pathologist
We are searching for a Speech Language Pathologist to be a member of our Early Intervention Team covering one or more of the following counties: Butler, Crenshaw, Covington and Coffee. This position involves training families/caregivers in homes and daycare centers to work with infants and toddlers who have special needs. Ideal candidate must be willing to travel to client homes for Early Intervention therapy services. SLT must be licensed by ABESPA and have experience working with infants and toddlers. Position includes flexible schedule, travel time and mileage reimbursement. Position is a contract position. Current professional certification and liability coverage required.
Early Childhood Development Specialist – CCEP
We are searching for a Development Specialist for the Childcare Enhancement with a Purpose program for Mobile/Washington/Clarke and Marengo counties. The Early Childhood Development Specialist will provide training and technical assistance in childcare settings for providers and directors to assist in identifying children who are displaying possible red flags in development and to support the successful inclusion of all children into their programs.
Applicants must be available to provide childcare center training after regular business hours and have reliable transportation for travel troughout Mobile, Washington, Clarke and Marengo Counties.
Participants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Development, or related field. Must have knowledge of typical child development, preschool and teaching. Special education experience is preferred. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
Service Coordinator – Washington, Clarke & Choctaw
We are searching for a Service Coordinator/Special Instructor for Washington, Clarke and Choctaw counties. This position will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team coordinating early intervention services for infants and toddlers birth to 3 years. BS in related Human Services fields, such as Child Development, Education, Psych. The ideal candidate must be dependable and have reliable transportation.
